Ren Jianxin met Toray’s president, Akihiro Nikkaku, on Dec 25. Both sides exchanged ideas on business development and future plans. Nikkaku reviewed Toray’s cooperation with Bluestar in 2013 and expressed hopes that the company can continue to receive support from ChemChina. Ren spoke highly of the bilateral cooperation in Beijing and Hangzhou, and confirmed ChemChina’s continued future support. Ren also introduced ChemChina’s key customers and e-commerce platform for 2014.
