On December 3, 2014, a list of GoldenBee 2014 excellent corporate social responsibility (CSR) reports was issued at the seventh China International Symposium on CSR Reporting. Among them, 2013 Sustainability Report won ChemChina the “GoldenBee 2014 Excellent CSR Report - Industry Leader” award. “GoldenBee” is one of the most prestigious CSR reporting awards in China. Starting from 2007, a “GoldenBee CSR China List” is published on a yearly basis.
This year, the awarding jury collected a total of 2,240 CSR reports (sustainability reports) published in the Chinese mainland. After rigorous review and selection, the honor of “Industry Leader” was awarded to 12 enterprises, including ChemChina, Sinopec, CNMC, China Minerals, Huadian Group, NORINCO Group, etc.
The symposium was jointly organized by China WTO Tribune and the International Research Center for Social Responsibility & Sustainable Development of Peking University. A journal of finance & economics under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce, China WTO Tribune mainly covers major economic events that take place as the country’s economy and enterprises integrate into the global economic trend.
