On January 17, REC Solar, an overseas company under Bluestar, announced the launch of TwinPeak 2 Series, the second generation of TwinPeak solar panel.

REC Solar’s TwinPeak 2 Series, since it was launched in 2015, has been recognized in the industry and by customers by relying on its high efficiency and stability, and won an award at the Intersolar Europe 2015 in the year. The latest product, by using key technologies of TwinPeak 2 Series including half-cut solar cell, PERC (passivated emitter and rear) technologies and innovative split junction boxes, has further improved its performance and quality. Like all other cell panels of REC Solar, the product is totally PID free and can avoid power loss in the most severe conditions as well as hot and humid environment.

In addition, the product uses for the first time silicon wafer with a larger diameter of 156.75mm and five bus bars, which are conducive to improvement of its output power. Compared with the maximum output power of the standard 60-cell panel, that of each panel of the product has hit a new record, that is, at least 20 watts higher, thereby helping owners and end users reduce costs and increase profits.

Cemil Seber, Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management of REC Solar, said that the innovative polysilicon platform enables the standard output power of the product to reach up to 295 watts, and its application in the 60-cell product yields the highest level of cell panel output power in the history, flexing the muscle of REC Solar in terms of innovative research and development. In the PV industry that is mainly driven by high power, high quality and reliable performance, REC Solar always maintains a leading position in the market by its relying on its expanding and innovative product lines.
