On September 29, 2017, Olivier De Clermont Tonnerre, Director and Chief Strategy Officer of China National Bluestar (Group) Co., Ltd., won “2017 Friendship Award” granted by the Chinese Government. He was invited by the Chinese Government to attend Awards Ceremony.
Organized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, “Friendship Award” is the highest-level award granted by the Chinese Government for foreign experts working in China. “Friendship Award” is aimed to express thanks and commend foreign experts’ outstanding achievements and dedications to China’s social development, construction of economy, technology, education, culture and other undertakings and talent cultivation.

He explodes new ideas, lays stress on marketing, achieves efficient implementation of upstream and downstream integrated projects of Jiangxi Xinghuo Organic Silicone Plant, and improves overall advantages of Bluestar Silicon Industry Chain. He makes positive contributions to ChemChina acquisition of Italian Pirelli, German KraussMaffei and Swiss Syngenta, and plays a boosting role in mutual benefit and win-win situation of Chinese and European enterprises, the construction of cultural exchanges between China and Europe and the consolidation of China-EU friendship.
