On November 6, Adisseo celebrated its 80th anniversary in the food and agricultural products exhibition area of the 2nd CIIE. ChemChina and Bluestar leaders and Adisseo executives, including ChemChina Chairman Ning Gaoning, ChemChina Vice President Hu Xuteng, Bluestar and Adisseo Chairman Hao Zhigang, Adisseo CEO Jean-Marc Dublanc and Deputy General Manager of Adisseo Gu Dengjie, witnessed this grand moment. As a representative of Adisseo’s partners, Meng Fanjie, Executive Director of Mengniu Group, the country’s top dairy products manufacturer, also attended the ceremony to experience the willingness and enthusiasm of Adisseo’s growth with Chinese customers.
At 12 p.m., peak time of the exhibition area, the professional and elegant Adisseo booth attracted many professional visitors. When the executives pushed the ceremony pole as the symbol of concerted efforts, the words “Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of Adisseo” came into visitors’ vision. This marked the start of a new journey for Adisseo, a company founded in France which has presence in China for over ten years. Not all enterprises at the CIIE have an 80-year history, nor can they hold their most important activities on a platform at the CIIE.
At the ceremony, Hao Zhigang, Chairman of Bluestar and Adisseo, shared Adisseo’s vision and long-term commitment to the Chinese market and stated that the controlling shareholders, ChemChina and Bluestar, will continue to provide strong support to Adisseo. He said Adisseo’s celebration of its 80th anniversary was not only a time to share its achievements and dreams, but also a time to make concerted efforts with employees, customers and partners to create a win-win future and glory for the next 80 years.
Jean-Marc Dublanc, CEO of Adisseo, believed the company will have wider presence in China through introducing world-class talents, cutting-edge technologies, products, industry standards and services to China. “For Adisseo, China is our local market. We have high expectations for the Chinese market, and our goal is to become a leader in the methionine and specialty products industry in China.”
In addition to relying on China, Adisseo has a global perspective, allowing that “the Belt and Road Initiative” can also provide a unique opportunity for its future development. Adisseo’s production base in Europe and China and its global sales network can fully cover the regional market along the route. Through following “the Belt and Road Initiative”, Adisseo will actively expand its businesses in emerging markets where it can pursue a high growth potential and strive for a greater development.
For Adisseo, the CIIE represents a valuable platform for cooperation and win-win results. In the second participation of CIIE, Adisseo displayed the star product MetaSmart?, a special effective methionine product for ruminants which is necessary for ensuring high yield, the health and reproduction of cows. It can also reduce nitrogen emissions in the environment. Producing and selling this product in China again proved Adisseo’s long-term commitment to fully exploring the Chinese market. This also highlights Adisseo’s determination to “share China’s development opportunities for a better common future.”
Adisseo also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with dairy giant Mengniu at the CIIE. According to the cooperation framework agreement, both parties will conduct an all-round, wide-ranging and multi-level cooperation in the following three fields.
