Haohua Chemical extends New Year greetings

On January 11-18, China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corporation sent out groups conveying care and New Years greetings to elderly Red Army soldiers, veteran cadres, and people suffering from dire poverty in former revolutionary base areas.

On January 16, Ren Jianmin, deputy general manager of ChemChina, and senior executives of Haohua Chemical met Zhang Xilei, an honorary retired Red Army cadre. They spoke about the founding of the New China along with the reforms and opening up policies. They wished her good health.

Haohua officials visited Taya and Beigunlonggou villages on January 11 where poverty prevails in Pingshan county, Hebei province. They delivered consolation money to the 10 neediest families and retired Party branch officials. They talked with village officials and shared new ideas on poverty alleviation programs.

In Pingshan County, the consolation delegation exchanged views on help-the-poor work in the next stage with Zhang Jianhui, director of the Shijiazhuang municipal poverty relief office, and Liu Lianchun, deputy director of the office. Zhang spoke of the mode of the group for helping the poor. He said that tailoring poverty alleviation programs to suit local conditions could achieve greater results. He said the city plans to promote the Haohua experience in the local region.

Haohua officials also extended gifts and consolation money for retired employees, sick-rest staff and Party members enduring difficult circumstances in the headquarters, as well as wishing them good health and happiness in the lunar Dragon year.
