The 8th Representative Assembly of Labor Union Committee recently unanimously passed a plan for adjusting the salary system of North Paint & Coatings Industry Research Institute (NCRI). Thanks to the endeavors of a workers' conference, the final resolution to improve NCR's salary system was made.
Since the beginning of the year, NCRI has seized every opportunity for development, boosting overall benefits. In order to allow employees to enjoy the institute’s achievements and guarantee 10-15 percent rise in income each year, NCR's labor union has brought the role of bridge into full play since the beginning of the year. Practical suggestions on the adjustment of salary system, which were highly recognized by NCRI's leadership, were proposed many times.
On the basis of previous efforts, NCRI held the second workers' conference of the 8th Labor Union Committee. After hearing the plan to improve the salary system from the HR Department, all representatives actively expressed opinions. Afterward, all representatives present passed the plan with a unanimous vote.
NCRI has attached great importance to the effort of a labor union in recent years because the trade union plays active roles in solving conflicts and taking a share in decision-making process. Good results have been achieved. For the past year, the labor union has submitted nearly 30 proposals and development plans to the leadership and functional divisions. Most proposals were accepted, which positively facilitated the healthy development of enterprise.
