On May 26th, Qenos, a major overseas business of ChemChina, was successfully included in the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame in Australia for its business operational excellence and great contribution to the local economy. In his briefing to ChemChina President Ren Jianxin, Mr. Jonathan Clancy, CEO of Qenos, noted that “For a manufacturing business, this is an extremely prestigious award that has been previously bestowed on only the most highly successful businesses in all sectors of manufacturing. The gala event was attended by 850 people including heads of government ministry, heads of Regulatory Departments, Union Heads and of course leaders of industry, with entertainment provided by some of Australia's leading singers.”

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame was established in 2001 to celebrate manufacturing excellence in Victoria and to showcase locally based manufacturers whose innovative and sophisticated solutions to manufacturing challenges are world class. Now in its tenth year, the awards have recognized 117 companies, added 23 recipients to the Honor Roll and recognized nine young Manufacturers of the Year. Mr. Ross McCann, Executive Chairman of Qenos, was included on the Manufacturing Hall of Fame Honor Roll in 2010.
