On Oct 21, the Bluestar (Lanzhou) Company donated 20 tractors to Gulang County to help the local mechanized farming.
The donation ceremony was held at the Agricultural Machinery Center, and officials from the Gulang County Committee and Gulang Government were present. After the donation, both sides discussed the planning of additional poverty alleviation work for the future.
The tractors, manufactured by the Tianshui No.7452 Factory of Zhongche Group, are small in size and easy to operate. They are well-suited for hillside farming and forestry work. In addition, the tractors have simple structures and a long service life.
Gulang sits on the east side of Hexi Corridor, and is one of the key supported counties in China's new round of poverty relief. Bluestar has actively engaged in the relief work since 2003, and continues to proffer financial, material and intellectual support.
