On May 7th, ChemChina invited Eric Stern, president of global operations at Stern Stewart & Co. to deliver training about the EVA (Economic Value Added) management system for young cadres.
Eric Stern explained differences between EVA and those traditional capital management evaluations, as well as the “6M” system of EVA, including assessment, management, motivation, corporate culture, annual plan and market exchange. He also described other Fortune 500 companies’ experiences with using EVA, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council’s goal of promoting the EVA system. He also exchanged ideas with young cadres about how to develop EVA in their companies.
ChemChina cooperated with Stern Stewart & Co. to promote EVA, starting from the assessment system.
