BlueStar, Haohua kick-off successor and leadership programs

ChemChina kicked-off the successor and leadership programs tailored for BlueStar and Haohua on June 20th. This is another major step by ChemChina to introduce global best practices for enhanced HR management.

ChemChina engaged Hay Group, a world-renowned management consulting firm, to pilot the programs first at BlueStar and Haohua in a bid to raise the overall level of company management, and select and develop a powerful management team.

President Ren Jianxin of ChemChina pointed out that talents can determine the survival and development of a company. That optimized company management depends on the improved quality and expertise of the management team.

The programs, divided into four phases spanning two years, will define the standards and requirements for leadership, design and implement a series of challenging activities to enhance the capacity of the trainees and eventually provide systematic support for leadership development.

The programs will help ChemChina select and develop potential candidates for company leadership in a scientific, well-regulated and open manner. It is also an opportunity for the company to transform its traditional decision-making to make it more scientific, supported by professional managers and external advisers.
