ChemChina recently appeared on the 2009 BCG 100 New Global Challengers, newly released by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), one of the world's most prestigious consulting firms.
The report singled out the top 100 among all the competing candidates in the fast emerging economies as the new global challengers in terms of growth, global integration and their role in reshaping different industries. Apart from 36 Chinese companies, the rest include those from India (20), Brazil (14), Mexico (7), Russia (6) and elsewhere.
"ChemChina, as one of the most competitive challengers among the top 100, plays a pivotal role in the world market," said David C. Michael, Chairman of BCG Greater China. (Li Gening)
