Shandong Dongda Chemical Industry Co Ltd won the 2011 provincial energy-savings and consumption-reducing advanced unit and first prize of energy-savings and consumption reducing advanced units in the hi-tech zone, Zibo city, Shandong Province, and obtained more than 900,000 yuan ($141,000) of energy-savings project funds.
Until May, the company’s energy consumption has reduced to 2.11% year-on-year, and its target completion rate is 628%, saving 4,258 tons of standard coal and 4.77 million yuan. The industrial added value of energy consumption per ten thousand yuan has been reduced by 7.43% year-on-year. The industrial added value of power consumption per ten thousand yuan has increased by 4.89%. The industrial added value of water consumption per ten thousand yuan has been reduced by 18.18% to 80.99 tons.
