The Chemical Industry Zhonghao Chenguang Research Institute has provided coverage for all its employees for a provincial mutual insurance plan to cover their hospitalization costs.
For many years, employees have had to pay for the part of their hospitalization expense that was not covered by urban employee medical insurance and serious illness insurance. In recent years, the Institute has continued to develop so the leaders came up with a “sharing achievement and benefiting staff” idea to deal with employees’ problems. It ended up providing annual coverage for 2,985 employees at 80 yuan per person.
The mutual insurance plan for hospitalization for Sichuan employees is used for provincial trade union members. It now gives Research Institute employees a share of its development and has inspired greater enthusiasm and initiative.
