The Jiangsu Anpon Electrochemical Co recently provided a lecture session on cultural concepts for its female employees, to promote ‘smiling, filial piety and efficiency’ among them.
As a cultural guideline for Anpon’s female staff members, “smiling, filial piety, and efficiency’ is meant to represent such attributes as confidence, beauty, enthusiasm and brightness, the heritage of Chinese traditions, and embody such elements as love of work, a positive attitude, courage, and holding up half the sky. It is also meant to be a manifestation of staff members’ passion for work, family, and life and their confidence in facing difficulties and challenges with an open mind to reinforce their confidence and courage in doing their duty, improving themselves, and staying active and ready to contribute.
