This year, the Shenyang Chemical Corp introduced a competitive, incentive mechanism in hiring mid-level executives, so it can build a better team that can deal with complicated situations and complicated tasks. So far, the Shenyang Paraffin-Wax Chemical Co has completed hiring and has a group of qualified, professional, management-ready cadres.
Shenyang Chemical wrote up a proposal on strengthening the hiring and selection process for mid-level executives, last year. It shakes up the mid-level employee structure for the more qualified, responsible, and capable young personnel who have made an outstanding contribution.
Shenyang Chemical began selecting mid-level executives at the beginning of this year with all of its then-mid-executive personnel being asked to quit their posts and compete for new ones. After an open selection process, 46 passed the exam and took the mid-level positions, while eight of the old executives failed and three of the reserve group of below-40 personnel with university educations took over.
China Bluestar Shenyang Chemical and Shenyang G-Billow Chemical will finish the mid-level executive selection process by the end of this year.
