(Correspondent: Yang Yue)On September 6, a Rosneft delegation of six headed by Vice-President A.Shishkin arrived at Marine Chemical Research Institute (MCRI) in Qingdao for investigation and exchange. Hu Xuteng,Deputy General Manager of ChemChina, Chenhong,General Manager of Haohua Corporation and Yin Desheng,Chief Engineer as well as main leaders of MCRI attended the reception on behalf of the Chinese side.
The Russian delegation listened to the introduction of MCRI’s overall conditions and visited Chengyang production base and testing center. The delegation recognized coating technologies of MCRI, and hoped to cooperate with MCRI to develop new products by utilizing its own market resource advantages and the policy advantage of developing the Far East. On behalf of the Chinese side, Deputy GM Hu Xuteng expressed the intention to continue consultation with the Russian side on the cooperation model.
Reportedly, on September 4, also the day when G20 Summit opened in Hangzhou, ChemChina Chairman Ren Jianxin and Rosneft President Igor Sechin signed the cooperation framework agreement stipulating that both sides will further promote the joint feasibility study of FEPCO and establish a joint venture based on good results of the joint feasibility study. After the signing of framework agreement, MCRI was the first destination for the Russian delegation which has promoted the step-by-step implementation of the agreement.
