On October 23, the Department of Climate Change, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) organized trainees of the fourth training program for south-south cooperation on climate change to visit the desalination base of Hangzhou Water Treatment. The delegation was accompanied by Wang Yiheng, deputy director of the resource conservation and environmental protection division of Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Cai He, deputy chief engineer of Zhejiang Climate Center.
The NDRC delegation consisted of 45 trainees from 27 countries, mostly along the Belt and Road. Hangzhou Water Treatment planned the trip to meet the training demand and cater to the national conditions of the home country of visiting trainees. The head of the international projects department introduced to the guests the corporate culture, the history, total solution based services, advantageous products and their application and the head of the marketing department took them to the equipment workshops and container workshops for visit. The company's technologies in drinking water, desalination and membrane products aroused strong interest in the guests.
In recent years, Hangzhou Water Treatment has sped up to explore the overseas market, in particular in Belt and Road countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, which have all become new growth points for its business. In the next step, it will continue to capitalize on the favorable policy to expand its presence in the overseas market via multiple channels.
