On March 20, China’s first new-type tandem internal mixer specially developed for non-tire industries rolled off the final assembly line of Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co, Ltd. (the Company), symbolizing that the first application project for the company’s technical solution for one-step smart rubber mixing in the rubber industry took a solid step towards success.
As Industry 4.0 evolves and customers’ application demands increase, the traditional rubber industry is in urgent need for shutting down outdated production facilities and upgrading production technologies, etc. The Company firmly grasped the revolutionary development opportunities, proposed in an innovative way to apply the low-temperature rubber mixing technology of tandem internal mixer to the production of auto parts, sealing elements, rubber cable, rubber pipe and rubber belt, and adopted the solution of small tandem internal mixer in accordance with the industry’s characteristics of demand for and technical requirements on rubber compounds, thereby overturning the original traditional rubber mixing technology and integrating the processes of master batch and final mixing. The move will not only promote the development of the rubber industry, but also conform to the new global trends of energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of rubber mixing equipments.
The equipment consists of two tandem internal mixers, GK90E and GE180T, the upper internal mixer GK90E is imported from Germany for master batch and the lower internal mixer GE180T is a new product developed for matching with the upper internal mixer and for final mixing.
It is reported that the new production line is the first application project for the company’s technical solution for one-step smart rubber mixing in the rubber industry. The Company pledges to promote the solution in non-tire industries in an all-around way, and take gradual steps to transform and upgrade itself from an equipment supplier to an integrated technical solution provider.
