Recently, the “Belt and Road” Uzbekistan Angren tire factory project that YRPM took part in was accepted. So far, the conveyor and tire projects of YRPM have been successfully completed.
YRPM internal mixer on the tire production line of Angren tire factory
In September 2016, the "Belt and Road” Uzbekistan Angren Tire Factory Project was contracted by Beijing Research & Design Institute of Rubber Industry, which is also a subsidiary of ChemChina. YRPM undertook the design and construction of GK-400N internal mixer of tire project and GK-190E internal mixer of the conveyer belt project as well as 2.2m×10.6m wire rope conveyer belt vulcanizing press. Specifically, the tire project is the first one in Uzbekistan, and the conveyer belt project is the first project for manufacturing wire rope vulcanizing press in Uzbekistan.
The successful implementation of the project is a successful model that ChemChina's advanced rubber technologies and leading rubber equipment manufacturers join hands for “Belt and Road” cooperation.
In order to research and design the optimal production plan and process, YRPM invited KraussMaffei's technical experts from Germany to work together with the local team to hold a special seminar on the project, so as to ensure the quality and production progress of bidding-winning products. After more than half a year of hard work, the customized equipment for the project was successfully tested with a dead load in the assembly workshop. In April 2017, internal mixers and large vulcanizing processes were transported to Uzbekistan, an ancient country along the “Silk Road”. In July, the equipments arrived at the Angren tire factory and the installation and adjustment started.
In order to complete the project as soon as possible, YRPM strived to create a high-quality model project and produce demonstration effects overseas. It dispatched a professional team consisting of mechanics and electricians to carry out the installation and adjustment in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, it cooperated closely with the project experts of Beijing Research & Design Institute of Rubber Industry and the Uzbek side to overcome difficulties and carefully carry out installation and adjustment work, and ensured that the project was completed as planned.
Uzbekistan’s first wire rope vulcanizing press production line adjusted at the Angren tire factory
In April 2018, the Angren tire factory produced the first high-strength, impact-resistant, large-width wire-rope conveyor belt in Uzbekistan, putting an end to the history in which Uzbekistan could not produce tire independently.
