On November 15, 2019, the fund for establishing the villagers' activity center of CNY 200,000 was transferred from the Finance Department of Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group (YRPMG) to the Tangjiu Village branch of Yangjiaotang Town, Anhua County, Yiyang.
Anhua County, Yiyang City is located in a remote area. It is one of the 51 key counties and also the main battlefield for poverty alleviation in Hunan Province. The work of "True Assistance, Targeted Poverty Alleviation" in YRPMG began in 2015. After three years of efforts, the poverty alleviation in Yijiafang Village, Majitang Township, Taojiang County has been fully completed, helping the households lifted out of poverty. In 2018, the new three-year poverty alleviation plan continued in Tangjiu Village, Yangjiaotang Town, Anhua County. For more than four years, YRPMG has invested a total poverty alleviation fund of CNY 1.2 million to help poor villagers.

In 2019, a total of 88 leaders from YRPMG and middle-level cadres came to Tangjiu Village to carry out assistance work. They went over the mountains and went from village to village to visit the targets and to learn about their actual situations. They accurately helped villagers to get rid of poverty and get rich with practical actions: they provided scholarships to help children in needy families, helped villagers to transport through dangerous bridges, helped the targets realize "micro wishes", and helped to build bamboo processing plants.

The targets are distributed in the mountains, and the communication and transportation there are inconvenient. After research, YRPMG set up a “support office for poverty alleviation assistance” in the work department of the Party Committee. The Administrative Assistant of Technology Department Zhang Zhihui, who is with good political quality, strong communication skills and is able to bear hardships, went to Tangjiu Village to assist the villagers and set up a file for 16 poor households and 11 households that have been lifted out of poverty in order to track the situations. Also, in response to the large number of targets, YRPMG expanded its poverty alleviation assistance team, middle-level leaders of party committee and labor union, as well as Wen Jianhai, the newly elected provincial party representative of the company.
Zhang Zhihui, a staff member in the poverty alleviation assistance team who stayed in the village, has been in Anhua for more than two years. He eats, lives, and works with the local people, understands the actual situations of local households, and helps villagers accurately.
In the home of a poor Party member who is now 88 years old and has more than 60 years of Party membership, he talked to the old Party member, made a benefit payment, and learned about the physical condition and family situation of the Party member.
When “micro wishes”----smart rice cookers---- of the “one to one” assistance targets were sent to the poor households, the functions and use methods of these cookers were introduced.
At present, 16 poor households in Tangjiu Village have passed the third-party assessment and acceptance in Hunan Province, and all of them have been lifted out of poverty. In accordance with the policy of "one year of poverty alleviation and two years of consolidation", a total of 27 households entered the period of consolidation, including the previous 11 households that have been lifted out of poverty.
