A few days ago, the Key Instrumentation Indigenization R&D and Application Project for 4,000,000t/a Coal Indirect Liquefaction Project of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd, in which Tianhua Institute participates, won the third prize for Science and Technology Progress Award of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
This 4,000,000t/a Coal Indirect Liquefaction Project is the first SNCG project in China. Its core devices--coal gasification units 25#-28# are all domestically manufactured units. Proudly, the TH-2010L series radioactivity level indicator designed by Tianhua Institute is used as a key equipment for the core units of this project.
The TH-2010L series radioactivity level indicator designed by Tianhua Institute is mostly used for measuring the material level in powder coal lock hopper and powder coal feed tank. Powder coal lock hopper and powder coal feed tank operate in complex process and the inflation cone at the bottom of lock hopper and the high-pressure dust flow in the feed bin create high gaseous density, which both heavily affect measurement of radioactivity instrument. Tianhua Institute's professional technical team represented by Xue Feng has, in light of the measurement requirements of the coal gasification unit, rendered the optimal measurement scheme superior to the original design. The original drawings and feed bin have been optimized by the designer according to Tianhua Institute's scheme. During installation and commissioning, Tianhua Institute's professional technical team calibrated the level indicator many times, tested it repeatedly to select accurate control parameters and obtained large amount of experimental data, making great contribution to the radioactivity measurement in this project.
On March 22, 2017, the 28# line of this project had coal feed first and successfully produced qualified raw gas and the unit operated normally. This marks official operation of the first SNCG--the coal-to-liquids gasification unit in China and breaks the foreign monopoly of this technology.
So far, the TH-2010L radioactivity instrument designed by Tianhua Institute has been operating well in field.
